JOAN COLLINS BECAME A DAME

 She is now officially a “Dame,” declared and rewarded by Prince Charles, in an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Thursday morning (March 26, 2015). The 81-year old English actress, author and columnist, Joan Collins celebrated being a ‘matron, the female knight’ for her contribution towards Arts in front of her husband (Percy Gibson), son (Alexander Newley) and daughter (Tara Newley ), and the British Royals. Considered to be the Most Noble Order of the Garter, Collins was presented with the title of Dame of the British Empire.
